The Truth of Right Now

My Life in 8 Words

Author Revealed

Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. Be kind.

Q. Which living person do you most admire?

A. I admire a great many living people, some of whom I’ve never met (every struggling single parent in the world doing her/his/hir best to raise children against the odds has my admiration, for example). But since I’m being asked to choose one, I’ll pick Malala Yousafzai.

Q. How would you describe perfect happiness?

A.

Imperfectly.

Q. If you could be any person or thing, who or what would it be?

A. Some kind of dessert. Molten chocolate cake topped with vanilla ice cream perhaps. My life span would be brief, but it would make somebody VERY happy.

Q. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you choose to be?

A. I just looked at weather.com and the temperature right now in Paris is 62 degrees and it’s 7:30 PM there. That sounds perfect to me. So I would be sitting in a café in the Latin Quarter people watching, intermittently writing, and sipping some delicious café au lait, because my acid reflux problems magically disappear when I’m in Paris.
