Sharai Robbin is an author, editor, and literary coach. She is the owner of Good Ground Literary Services, editor-in-chief of BlackCityTV online magazine, and long-standing member of Evening Star Writers’ Group. Robbin has a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Communications from Temple University and is presently pursuing her Master’s in English at Arcadia University. Robbin’s love for language shines in her debut novel, Candace Reign, the first installment of her Urban Royalty Series with Strebor Books.

I had the awesome opportunity to cover the Circle of Sisters event this Saturday October 4th, for They gave me access to the press room, first hand interviews with celebrities and full freedom to expound on whatever parts of the event I chose.

I met Tamela and David Mann, Bobby Brown, Rebecca and Terry Crews, and Hezekiah Walker. It was an exciting and memorable experience. I don't write for the online magazine often and I found it more challenging than I'd expected to summarize the magnitude of such a huge celebration of culture into one page but I think I did a pretty good job and can't wait for my article to run on the site... see more
