This Privacy Policy applies to (however accessed and/or used, whether via personal computers, mobile devices or otherwise) and other interactive features that are accessible or downloadable through (collectively, the "Site"). The Site is maintained by Simon & Schuster Canada (hereafter "Company," "we," "us" or "our"), in cooperation with Simon & Schuster Digital, a division of Simon & Schuster, Inc. Both entities are part of CBS Corporation.

This Privacy Policy covers information collected offline and at the Site by Company and does not cover any information collected at any other web site (unless specifically stated). This Privacy Policy explains Company's information collection practices at the Site, such as the types of information Company collects regarding visitors to the Site and how we may use that information.     1. Information You Provide To The Site

      The Site may ask you to provide personally identifiable information, which is information that could be used to contact you or identify you personally, such as your name, birth date, mailing address, e-mail address or phone number (“Personal Information”) and other information about you, such as demographic information (your age, gender, postal code or similar information) or certain information about your reading habits, preferences and interests.       The Site is a general audience web site and we do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children younger than the age of thirteen (13). We will delete any Personal Information collected that we later determine to be from a user younger than the age of thirteen (13).

    2. Information You Provide About A Third Party

      If you send someone else a communication from the Site, such as sending information about a book to a friend, the information you provide (names, e-mail addresses, etc.) is used on a one-time basis to facilitate the communication, and are not saved nor used by us for any other marketing purpose unless we obtain consent from that person or we explicitly state otherwise.     This Site is operated by Simon & Schuster Digital in the United States and is governed by and operated in accordance with the laws of the State of New York and the federal laws, rules and regulations of the United States of America. Unless specified otherwise on the Site, all users must be a legal resident of Canada to participate in any activity that requires the submission of Personal Information. If you participate in activities on this Site contrary to our policy that only Canadian residents are eligible, you do so at your own risk and initiative, and are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. Please be aware that any Personal Information you provide to us will be collected in the United States and transferred to Canada.     To subscribe or unsubscribe to our Newsletters, visitors should follow the specific directions provided on the Site for unsubscribing to Newsletters. You can "opt-out" of receiving advertising and promotional e-mail from us by following the opt-out instructions in our e-mail messages. To ensure that your opt-out request is honored, you must use the designated method in the e-mail message to notify us of your opt-out request, as we cannot guarantee that other methods of notification will be effective or timely. We will continue to send you important transactional or service-related communications. Please note that even if you chose to opt-out of receiving commercial e-mails from Company, we will continue to send you important transaction related communications, including follow-up messages regarding Promotions you have entered or other transactions you have undertaken.

    The Site may contain content that is supplied by a third party, and those third parties may collect web site usage information and your Device Identifier when web pages from the Site are served to your browser.
