Alex Woolf is the award-winning author of over eighty books of fiction and non-fiction, mainly for children and young adults. In 2019, he won the Fiction Express Award for his book Mystery at Moon Base One and in 2021 he won the Association for Science Education award for his non-fiction book Think Like a Scientist. His horror novel, Soul Shadows, was shortlisted for the Falkirk Red Book Award. He lives in North London, England. Helen Dwyer is the author of several books for children specialising in the environment, history and culture. James Nixon is a politics graduate and experienced editor and author of children's non-fiction. He has written over 50 titles on a wide range of topics. Gill Humphrey is the author of books about pollution. Rachel Tisdale is the author of several books for children on a range of subjects.
