About The Author

John Byers is Professor of Zoology at the University of Idaho. He has written a number of books and articles on the subject of animal behavior, including American Pronghorn, which was awarded Book of the Year by the Wildlife Society. He is a Fellow of the Animal Behavior Society and currently resides in Moscow, USA.
