About The Author

Bronwyn is dubbed the ‘backcountry poet’. She holds a PhD in Performance and writes for both children and adults. She is the author of Sea to Sky Alphabet (2024); Gulf Islands Alphabet (2012) and the forthcoming two titles: Olive and Jasper and My Happy Hiking Trails, all with Simply Read Books. An avid backpacker, her book hiking beyond : poems from the trail (2026) is her latest release with Caitlin Press.

About The Illustrator

Celina Frisson is an artist and designer living on Vancouver Island, with roots in Jasper National Park. Her practice illuminates the dialogue between inner and outer landscapes, weaving together place, impermanence, and resilience.
