Chapter 1: El Ducko 1 El Ducko

Miss Mallard, the world-famous ducktective, and Willard Widgeon, her nephew, of the Swiss police waited in the lobby of their hotel for their friend El Ducko to arrive.

El Ducko is Spain’s most famous artist and guardian of ducks in need. He wears an eye-mask to hide his identity. He offered to take Miss Mallard and Willard touring in Seville during their holiday in sunny Spain.

But he was late!

To pass the time, Willard strummed on his guitar and Miss Mallard knitted. At last a carriage pulled up to the hotel. El Ducko rushed into the lobby wearing a felt hat with a feather, a long black cape, and his eye-mask.
