His science comic book How to Walk on the Moon and Other Incredible Ideas About Physics (Arcturus) is shortlisted for the SLA Information Book Award 2025. Aditi Kakade Beaufrand was born in India into a family of artists. She chose illustration as her profession after graduating from Rubika Supinfocom in 2017. Aditi has worked on a variety of advertisements, magazine illustrations, and children's books. Her style combines simple shapes, cultural designs, patterns, and bold colors. She is based in her home studio in Montpellier, France.
