About The Author

Em Lynas is a children’s author with a love of silly poetry and nonsense rhymes. Em has been a primary school teacher and an educational publisher and is now an author of funny picture books. The Goat and the Stoat and the Boat, was shortlisted for the 2025 Laugh Out Loud Awards and The Bear and the Hare and the Fair has been included in the 2026 Scottish BookTrust’s Book Bags which go out to over 50,000 children. Em lives on the North East coast of England in a small town which is occasionally visited by dolphins but she has yet to see them.
