A Nature Board Book for Babies and Toddlers About Finding Your Way
Table of Contents
About The Book
Ooo aaa woo woo! Papa Loon’s call rings out across the water—strong, loud, and full of purpose. But Little Loon’s voice is much smaller. Peep! Eep! Squeak! It doesn’t sound anything like Papa’s.
As Little Loon grows, he tries again and again to find his voice. When danger arrives, will he be ready?
Adapted for the youngest children, this streamlined board book edition of Little Loon Finds His Voice introduces babies and toddlers to animal sounds and the natural world through a story of growth, confidence, and finding one’s place. With rhythmic language, expressive sounds, and illustrations of misty lakes and northern wildlife, it works well as a read-aloud.
The original picture book edition was named a Bank Street Best Children’s Book of the Year (STEM Selection) and received a PubWest Book Design Award.
