About The Book

Everyone knows that it's important to tell the truth. Well, nearly everyone, that is ... because Monkey just can't stop telling fibs!

Whenever something goes wrong - whether it's Zebra's backpack getting muddy, or Beaver's toy tower getting knocked down, or Parrot's picture getting covered in sticky glitter - Monkey quickly pipes up: "It wasn't me!" However, when the whole class gets in trouble over Monkey's hijinks, he realizes that his fibs are spoiling everyone's fun. Can cheeky Monkey change his ways? With gently humorous, full-color illustrations and a warm, relatable story, Monkey Says, "It Wasn't Me!" is the perfect way to start a conversation about the importance of honesty. A fun and thoughtful picture book for readers aged 3+. ABOUT THE SERIES: The Let's Talk About... series features heart-warming hardback animal stories that encourage meaningful conversations about kindness, manners, and empathy.
