About The Book

The struggle between man and nature comes to a climax!

This ecological future fantasy by writer Jerome Hamon tells the story of a young man and his father searching for clues as to why life has ceased to thrive. Their journey will uncover a supernatural conspiracy between the nearby high-tech kingdom and their ruinous pursuit of eternal life. Mix in the return of long-forgotten (and jealous) gods and you have a surreal fantasy of truly Wagnerian scope.

Out of print for two years, this new edition features a new cover and backmatter gallery of additional artwork and concept design. This premium softcover is printed on quality 140gsm paper stock, with spot-UV on the cover and Magnetic's signature curved corners.

About The Illustrator

Launching his career under the pseudonym Tentacle Eye, Antoine Carrion entered comics in 2012 with the release of No Parasan (They Shall Not Pass), which immediately led to a nonstop string of projects lasting to this day. He has collaborated with Antoine Ozanam on numerous books, including Song of the Sabers and To Love (as Tentacle Eye), followed by The White Shadow and Temudjin (under his real name). He has since illustrated the dystopic fantasy Nils: The Tree of Life, written by Jerome Hamon, and is currently writing and illustrating a graphic novel adaptation of the classic Henrik Ibsen play Peer Gynt (which itself inspired the classical score by Edvard Grieg).
