Raves and Reviews

"This Christmas board book features adorable, silly animals all dressed up and singing about the holiday. A polar bear in sunglasses and a scarf kicks things off with opening lines to what will surely be a new classic: “Oh there is snow, snow, snow. It’s coming down, down, down, and it is fall, fall, falling all around, round, round./ And you can tell, tell, tell what’s on its way-ee-yay./ Yes! It will soon, soon, soon be Christmas Day!” As the song continues in amusing fashion, more of Boynton’s lovable characters join, including a penguin, moose, reindeer, and, of course, a pig. All except the penguin (who occasionally provides musical accompaniment and encouragement) sing along and decorate a tree together, before going sledding and continuing their song in the snow. Kids will enjoy the bright, happy, cartoon-style illustrations and the rhythms of the song, which caregivers will simply have to sing when reading aloud. An animation of the song will be available on Boynton’s YouTube channel."
