Alejandro Merizalde

About The Author

Alejandro Merizalde was born in Ecuador in 1979 and has spent 16 years developing his wide-ranging Venice photographic project. His first book, 100 Churches of Venice and the Lagoon, was published by Damiani in 2021. His second title, Thirteen Venetian Gasoline Stations, a limited-edition art book conceived in tribute to artist Ed Ruscha, was published in 2023. He currently lives and works in Connecticut with his wife.
