Lia Visirin was born in a small town in Transylvania, Romania, where she now lives with her husband and many houseplants. With a BA in Traditional Graphic Arts, she is a self-taught children's book illustrator. Her journey began with children's magazines, and she now works with renowned publishers like Walker Books, Usborne, Harper Collins, and more. Inspired by nature, old photos, and childhood memories, her whimsical style features rich color palettes and textures, along with intricate details.
