honored by amfAR and GLAAD as a Top LGBTQ+ Artist. His photography has appeared in The New York Times, Huffington Post, and Hawaiian Airlines Magazine, and he collaborated with the Hong Kong Ballet.

His debut book, How to Win One Million Dollars and $#!T Glitter, was praised by Kirkus Reviews as “an exuberant life story written with humor, panache, and heart,” deemed “powerful” by Publishers Weekly BookLife Prize, and is a IBPA Book Award Winner. Lucas is also the author of the Seven Dimensions Project, a memoir series exploring one life across parallel realities.
