About The Author

Writer Marco Lopez co-created the Oni - Lion Forge award-winning, sold-out graphic novel anthology Puerto Rico Strong, for which he won an Eisner. He co-created with Ivan Plaza and wrote the Chido Comics/Masked Republic Luchaverse, a sci-fi/horror comic series starring famous Mexican luchadors (reissued by Massive Publishing to further acclaim). He followed that with the horror mini-series Slashers Inc. for Chido as well. For Ablaze Publishing, he co-created and wrote the sold-out middle-grade novel, The Nightcrawlers, with artist Rachel Distler. In 2026, he has two middle-grade manga-inspired graphic novels coming out, along with a horror light novel and a pulp-inspired horror novel.
