About The Author

Isabelle de Pange was born in Uccle and lives in Schaerbeek. She is an art historian (at UCL) and an architecture enthusiast. She worked at the Inventaire du Patrimoine Architectural Bruxelles-Capitale (Monument Heritage Brussels) for several years before becoming head curator at Musées de la Ville de Bruxelles (Brussels City Museums) from 2015 to 2018. She has authored several works about her hometown.
