About The Illustrator

Carolyn Saletto became friends with Bob Ross at her certification class in 1991. After Bob’s passing, she was chosen to be a Teacher Trainer where she carried on his legacy by teaching others to be Bob Ross instructors. Having painted with Bob and been personally taught by him, Carolyn’s in-depth knowledge of the technique has proved invaluable, and she has re-painted and re-drawn his paintings that have been featured in several published books. “Knowing Bob has been a huge blessing in my life, and each time I do drawings for his books it brings back so many happy memories!” Carolyn has said. Carolyn has been featured in The Joy of Painting Happy Little Podcast, where she talks about her friendship with Bob.
