About The Book

An imaginative book about human connection in a digital age. For anyone who cherishes the art of storytelling, ages 7 years and up.

In a city where everyone seems lost in their own digital bubbles, Omar finds something extraordinary: living stories, fluttering like whispers in the wind. As he listens, others do, too. Soon something incredible happens—the parks and streets transform into vibrant hubs of laughter, imagination, and togetherness.

This multi-layered story celebrates the magic of storytelling while exploring important themes like diversity and migration. With its blend of playfulness and deeper meaning, this book serves as a powerful conversation starter about human connections, making it a valuable resource for libraries, classrooms and families alike.

About The Author

Peter Van Dyck is a writer and journalist who works and lives in Antwerp, Belgium. He is the father of four children. They are the very resource of his authorship. The bedtime stories that he made up on the spot when the kids were little, provided the inspiration for the children’s book he wanted to write later on. To light sparks in the young readers with beauty, humor, imagination and empathy is his goal. In addition, Peter dedicates books, articles and lectures to his biggest passion: music. According to him, stories and records are very much alike. Both have the power to move people, to take them to other worlds and even a spiritual level, to provide insights and to bring us all together.
