About The Book

A story about illness, inclusivity, friendship, and the beauty in everyday life. For children ages 4 years and up.

Hannah celebrates every day. She even celebrates holidays that most people don’t know about, such as National Linguine Day and National Dance Like a Chicken Day. Her classmates wonder why Hannah does that. Celebrating every day is a bit strange, isn’t it? But one day, Hannah suddenly has nothing to celebrate anymore . . .

About The Author

Cassie Silva lives in Vancouver, Canada with her partner Jimmy and daughter Lucy. She’s been writing stories since she learned to write. She works as a social worker and has volunteered for over ten years as a wish grantor, granting wishes to children with serious illnesses, as well as volunteering her time as a camp counsellor to kids with cancer and their siblings at a pediatric oncology summer camp. Some of Cassie’s favourite lesser-known holidays include World Laughter Day, Houseplant Appreciation Day, and Hug Your Cat Day. She thinks every day should be Wear Pajamas to Work/School Day. Holiday Hannah is Cassie’s third picture book.
