Choose to love yourself, your life, your partner, your pet, your neighbor, and the people you share a world with. This is a journal about the power of kindness and you’re the author.
Love is a practice.
There are an infinite number of ways to create more joy in your heart, more love in your life, and more compassion in the world. Love, Inside and Out includes weekly exercises to practice kindness, prompts for reflection, and inspiring quotes to motivate you along the way. From ideas for self-care to strategies for community building, this journal will help you put love first. Because a more loving world starts with you.
Prompt: Begin each day by paying yourself a compliment. Whether you’re proud of your work ethic, your marathon time, or your contagious laugh, pat yourself on the back each morning for one of the unique qualities that make you you.
At the beginning of the week: What is your self-talk usually like? Do you pay yourself compliments or are you critical of yourself? Write seven things about yourself that you like and pick one to focus on each day this week.
At the end of the week: Did you pay yourself a compliment each morning? Was it challenging or easy? How did beginning your day with positive self-talk affect you? Write about your most confident day this week and how the compliment you gave yourself might have changed your outlook.
