About The Book

The continuing adventures of the youthful castaways of the mysterious island and the revelations they uncover

The adventures and miseries on the island continue as Elijah and Elena remain intent on obeying the automaton, but others stand in opposition. Through their interactions with Charlie—who has lived alone on the island for years—Maya, Elijah, and Elena learn more about their prison, particularly regarding the presence of a woman living in the marshes with a horde of monkeys at her command.

As they attempt to seek out this mysterious woman, a newcomer is caught in one of Charlie's traps—he remembers neither his name nor his origins. Having recovered from the shock, they all choose to venture out to find the "Monkey Woman," hoping she might provide answers to the questions plaguing them. Driven by her own curiosity, Maya decides to join them—thereby disobeying the automaton's final order, which had instructed her to proceed to the lighthouse… or else.

About The Author

Lylian was born in 1975. As a child, he felt his reality was both strange and foreign, so he decided to reinvent it in order to make it his own. In 2004, Les Humanoides Associés became interested in his work and published his first album, L'Éveil du Kurran, designed by Dune and co-written by Nori. In the following years, Lylian focused on writing the scripts of the series The Reverend, Kenji the Ninja, The Quest of Ewilan and Ellana. Passionate about comics, literature, psychology and film, Lylian is currently writing several series, adaptations and original stories that highlight his taste for the human feelings and energies that pass through and shape us.
