About The Author

Stella A. Caldwell has written dozens of books for children covering everything from mythical beasts and legends to the ancient Egyptians, pirates, and medieval knights. She studied English literature at the University of Edinburgh and spent many years working in children's publishing as an editor before writing her first book, a field guide to dragons called Dragonworld.

About The Illustrator

Eugenia Nobati is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she still lives with her family, two cats, and a dog. Her work has been published in nine countries and more than forty books. She was selected among sixteen illustrators representing Argentina in Bratislava's Bienal 2012. In 2014, she was recognized by ALIJA, Argentina's section of IBBY, for the best illustrated book.
