About The Author

Chiara Fiorentino is a children’s book illustrator, born in the Italian countryside. After studying illustration at European Institute of Design of Turin, she started to work as a freelance illustrator for advertising agencies and publishers. She loves colorful atmospheres and takes inspiration for her palette from natural tones. Chiara mainly uses digital techniques to create her pictures, but also loves to use gouache and watercolors. She is deeply fascinated by underwater creatures and whimsical animals. When she doesn’t draw, she loves taking long walks, doing hand knitting, or taking a break for a chat with her friends.
