About The Author

A visionary, entrepreneur, and preventive medicine pioneer and physician, Kenneth H. Cooper, MD, MPH, worked with NASA to develop a conditioning program for astronauts to use while weightless in space, trained the 1970 Brazilian soccer team to World Cup victory, and helped remove trans fats from the American diet, which began with Frito-Lay snacks. With his groundbreaking health and wellness research through the past fifty-five years, he is credited with impacting millions of people to lead healthier, more active lives. Dr. Cooper earned his medical degree from The University of Oklahoma and his Master of Public Health from Harvard University.
