About The Author

Michael Marriott is the author of RHS Roses: An Inspirational Guide to Choosing and Growing the Best Roses, published by DK in 2022. Michael studied Agricultural Botany at university and then, after 5 years working in the South Pacific, joined David Austin Roses. He spent his time advising gardeners around the world. Though retired, he continues to work with roses as chairman of the Historic Roses Group. He also started TOD Garden Tours, where he leads garden tours around the world with his partner, Rosie Irving.
