About The Author

Richard Horowitz is a board-certified MD specializing in internal medicine who is known for his pioneering work with Lyme disease and recognized as one of the country’s foremost experts on chronic illness. Dr. Horowitz is the medical director of the Hudson Valley Healing Arts Center, an integrative medical center, to which more than 13,000 patients have come from all over the US, Mexico, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Australia for treatment. He is the author of two award-winning editions of the New York Times bestseller, Why Can’t I Get Better: Solving the Mystery of Lyme and Chronic Disease, commonly referred to as “The Lyme Bible.” Dr. Horowitz has served as a consultant to governments around the world and dedicated his life to helping those stricken with chronic illness.
