About The Illustrator

Alex lives somewhere in BC. He doesn’t like talking about himself but he will admit to loving the outdoors and a nice IPA. He has illustrated a number of picture books from a little library mouse, a polar bear family, to a mischievous orangutan. He enjoyed illustrating Gulf Island Alphabet because it reminded him of his childhood where he spent countless summer vacations. As far as he knows he hasn’t won any awards since grade 12 art class.
